  Omg, so disappointing! We came from Spokane, WA. We looked this resteraunt up on line. It was rated so well! Our waitress was wonderfully attentive to us. Our food was so cold. My sister ordered asparagus. It's was so black and cold.....come on now! We all received garlic mashed potatoes....so cold! None of us wanted to complain because we know what you do to complainers! We spent so much money and feel so cheated. Oh I am so angry! My man's steak was cold and dry and he couldn't eat it. The waitress said the cook checked the food temp....come on now!! We are all nurses, we are not stupid.

  I can't quite figure out the allure of The Winchester. The food is really good, but I could grill the same steak at home for half the price, and while the restaurant is decorated to try and give an "elegant" feel, it mostly feels dated. Being directly connected to Scotty's Bar doesn't help matters either.
